Yes. MDC EP has its own dedicated parking garage which will be made available to our attendees free of charge. To park you must download the parking permit and display it on your car’s dashboard.
MDC cafeteria will remain open during the conference. There are other options but not necessarily close to the venue.
You must make your own arrangements for lodging accommodations. We suggest you make them early on, since Miami is a busy tourist destination. Discounts will be announced, if any.

You will have to R.S.V.P for the reception but you pay nothing … it’s complimentary. More information will provided during the week of March 10, 2024.
Educational credits will be requested from the American Translators Association (ATA), the Court Interpreter Certification and Regulatory Program (CICRP), the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) and the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (NBCMI).
Your registration confirmation appears on screen as soon as you complete your payment transaction. For a payment receipt, please request it through the Contact section of the website.
No. Once registered the attendees are free to attend any lecture they desire.
The registration desk will be in service every day. It will give the attendees their conference badge and scan the badge for attendance verification purposes. It is important to get the badge scanned.
Once the conference is over a new tab will be placed on the SIA website – CERTIFICATES. In this tab the attendee will put his email address (the one s/he registered with for SIA – IMPORTANT) and the password SIA2024. This password is common to everyone. The next screen will allow the attendee to view/download/print the general attendance certificate as well as the certificates of any specific lectures that s/he attended.
