Sunday, March 18.
9:00AM – 12:00PM
College of Business Complex Building (CBC)
Room CBC 254

The ATA certification examination is a three-hour, open-book, proctored exam that offers the candidate three passages of about 225 to 275 words each (actual text for passages with English as a source language and the English equivalent for passages with English as a target language). Two of these passages must be translated.

If you are registered to take this exam on March 18, you should be at CBC 254 at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

You must register separately with the ATA to take the exam, and you must do it several weeks in advance. This sitting is very limited and the seats will go fast, so if you are interested in signing up to take the ATA Certification test in any of the language pairs offered on Sunday, March 18th, do so soon. You will find the appropriate information and instructions at http://atanet.org/certification/certification_FAQ.php.
